BlackBerry Storm 2 specs revealed, Due later this year

BlackBerry Storm 2

It’s been quite a while since we last heard anything about the BlackBerry Storm 2. We know its coming with a better touchscreen display with WiFi included, and now, we’ve got a major update for your RIM aficionados out there. It’s just been revealed that the BlackBerry 9550 aka Storm 2 will actually come with 3.2-megapixel camera, quad-band GSM/EDGE, UMTS/HSDPA (2100MHz), CDMA 1xRTT/EVDO Rev. A, WiFi b/g connectivity, a 360×480 capacitive touchscreen display, and runs on OS 5.0. With the exception of WiF and slight design changes, everything looks to be just at par with the original Storm which, to be honest, is actually quite disappointing since we’re hoping for more new features to be included in the latest iteration of RIM’s touchscreen phone. No word yet on when it will exactly hit the market, but it is expected to be released later this year. How about you guys? What do you think of the BlackBerry Storm 2? Is it worth the wait?
