ASUS DR-950 9-INCH EREADER GETS SPOTTED
Considered as the pioneer of the netbook, Asus is now trying their luck in the e-book reader market with their new product, the DR-950 ereader.
This 0.35-inch thin svelte black beauty comes with a 9-inch 1024×768 resolution touchscreen, WiFi and HSDPA connectivity, 2-4GB of internal memory expandable via microSD card, 3.5mm jack, USBP port, and even possibly WiMAX as well in the near future. This isn’t available yet in the market and we neither have a retail price nor target date as to when this will be released.
Be that as it may, we’re just happy to see that Asus is now part of the ereader race since their entry will certainly help make the Kindle-dominated market more competitive and push all the players concerned to churn out better products for the public.
