There seems to be two Chuwi P7 PMPs: a touchscreen and the one originally announced. The Ownta store, however, has the two versions available.
We’ll deal more with the Chuwi P7II since from the specs at Ownta it is clearly of superior built.The P7II is a 5-inch 800 x 480 PMP with full HD support (1080p). It’s equipped with HDMI out and has OTG functionality. It plays an astonishing variety of video and music files including MKV, H.264, OGG and APE. Many of these files the Chuwi P7II can play without conversion (read below for the details).
The 8GB price is $121 while the 16GB is $148. We were just given these links to the discounted prices, but knowing Ownta (the company is one of our advertisers), it’ll stay discounted for a long time.
