IPHONE COMING TO T-MOBILE, VERIZON, SPRINT THIS YEAR; CLEARWIRE IN 2011?

iphone-verizon-sprint-t-mobileWe know AT&T is losing its exclusivity on the iPhone this year, and rumors have been floating around for quite some time now that it’ll be soon be available on either Verizon or T-Mobile. However, Oppenheimer & Co analyst Tim Horan has a different take on the whole situation. As opposed to just having another carrier offer up the iPhone in the US, he believes that all major carriers in the country will soon be getting the iPhone. T-Mobile will be the first this summer, most likely the iPhone 4G, with Sprint and Verizon to follow suit in the fall with a CDMA version. In 2011, he predicts that Clearwire will also launch the iPhone and will possibly be a WiMAX-enabled variant. Of course, all these are just speculation, and as far as analyst predictions are concerened, it’s been a hit and miss affair so far. Anyway, we’ll more on this once everything unfolds this year, but for the time being, we invite you to join us in keeping an eye out for Apple’s new baby, the iSlate, which is scheduled to be announced this Wednesday, January 27th.
