After all the brouhaha that was the Nexus One, we now move on to other upcoming mobile phones in the market, in particular, the Sony Ericsson Kurara.
We first talked about this touchscreen phone back in November of last year, and now, based on the latest insider tip, we hear that it’s finally ready to hit the market sometime in April, just two months away. Well, not exactly. That’s only as far as the UK is concerned, and of course, this is still yet to be confirmed However, if true, we strongly believe that Sony Ericsson will grab the opportunity to announce and unveil the Kurara at next month’s Mobile World Congress (MWC) event in Barcelona, Spain.
As quick recap, the Sony Ericsson Kurara comes with a 3.5-inch AMOLED touchscreen, 8.1-megapixel camera with 720p recording capabilities, PowerVR graphics chip, Cortex A8 processor (the same one found on the iPhone 3G S and Motorola Droid), and runs on the Symbian platform similar to the Sony Ericsson Satio sibling. We’ll report more on this once additional info surfaces.
