If you really need a tablet with multitouch right now, there’s the Digitalrise X9, which we reported about last month. Nowadays Digitalrise is calling their X9 tablet the iSlate with confidence. The 10.2-inch device gives you a true multitouch experience, with finger pinching. The $790 price already includes 3G, GPS and even a webcam. You might want to take a good look at this one. Believe us, we didn’t take it too seriously a month ago but watching the video demo, we were pretty impressed. And it’s running Windows 7! Don’t worry about the odd-looking form factor in the vide. The reviewer, apparently, used the leather case which comes with the X9 when you buy it.
