IPHONE OS 3.2 BUNDLED WITH NATIVE PHOTO EDITING TOOLS?

There’s a variety of apps available at the App Store that’ll allow you to edit photos, but unfortunately, the iPhone doesn’t come with its own set of native photo editing tools. That may soon change though beginning with iPhone OS 3.2.

These icons were unearthed in the iPhone 3.2 SDK which suggest that the upcoming firmware will also boast of some photo editing capabilities apart from video calling. Based on the names of these icons, photo cropping and rotation will be some of the new features we should keep an eye out for when iPhone OS 3.2 begins to roll out. It’s a bit limited, but hey, they’ve got to start somewhere and who knows, by the time the 4G iPhone and iPhone OS 4.0 are both released, Apple may have a complete set of native photo editing tools available for iPhone users across the globe.
