Motorola’s uniquely designed Motorola Backflip touchscreen phone is now finally available on AT&T.
As its name suggests, this Android phone flips backwards in order to allow users access to its QWERTY keypad. It boasts of a 3.1-inch HVGA touchscreen display, 5-megapixel camera, WiFi, Bluetooth 2.0, A-GPS, 7.2Mbps HSDPA connectivity, 3.5mm jack, microSD card slot, and comes loaded with MotoBLUR. It only runs on Android 1.5 though, but on the good side, is upgradeable to Android 2.1.
AT&T’s first Android phone offering is retailing for just $99.99 on a 2-year contract after a $100 mail-in rebate is applied.
