True to earlier rumors, the Motorola i1 (previously referred to as the Moto Opus One) has just officially been launched. This is the first Android-powered iDEN phone in the market, and also packs a 5-megapixel camera with LED flash, WiFi connectivity, a 3.1-inch HVGA touchscreen, and comes bundled with Opera Mini 5 for its web browser complete with Flash 8 support. Its body is built to Military 810F standards making it one tough cookie. Android 1.5 is its OS of choice, but contrary to previous reports, it actually won’t come with MotoBLUR. Pricing isn’t available yet, but they did go on to say that the Motorola i1 will be ready for retail on Sprint by summertime.
