WEB-BASED UNTETHERED IPHONE 3.1.3 JAILBREAK VIDEO DEMO SURFACES
Remember back in the day when you could easily jailbreak your iPhone by simply visiting a website via Mobile Safari? Well, that might make a big comeback this year once this new untethered iPhone 3.1.3 jailbreak by comex is released.
This is a web-based untethered jailbreak solution for both the iPhone and iPod Touch, and similar to what Geohot is working on, could also serve as an iPad jailbreak as well. The video demo above proves that it addresses the tethering issue, but if you compare it with the Geohot untethered iPhone 3.1.3 jailbreak tool, we’re not quite sure how this new one differs from latter as they’re almost identical with each other.
No word yet on when this will be released to the jailbreak community, but rest assured, we’ll be keeping a close eye on this jailbreak by comex especially since iPhone Dev Team member musclenerd has vouched for the authenticity of this one.
