If you enjoyed Avatar on the big screen and got addicted to it on your iPhone, you’ll love it even more on the newly released Apple iPad. That’s right. Gameloft has officially announced the availability of James Cameron’s Avatar on the iPad. Thanks to its bigger and better high-resolution 9.7-inch touchscreen display, the iPad provides users with a better Avatar gaming experience as they explore the world of Pandora and hone their skills as a Na’vi. We’re not sure what else has been improved in this version of Avatar, but its improved graphics will probably be good enough a reason for some to upgrade to this iPad-optimized iteration of the game that’s based on the hit movie of the same name.

James Cameron’s Avatar for iPad is priced much higher though, $3 more expensive than Avatar for the iPhone game to be exact, but this shouldn’t be surprising since most iPad apps are retailing at a higher cost as opposed to their iPhone counterparts.
